Objective:
By focusing on the family unit, this series of television episodes will educate the public on strategies to assist family members succeed in the key areas of education, health, law, and finance. The countries in the world that are deemed to be the most successful are those that have achieved the best health and education for its citizens. While health and medicine are indicators of success, it is clear that they need to be supported by an understanding and best utilization in the field of law.
Hosts:
Dr. Gurdeep Parhar, is a community family physician, and Executive Associate Dean at UBC's Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Anita Parhar teaches in the Faculty of Education and Faculty of Medicine at UBC. In the Faculty of Education she teaches in the Teacher Education Program. Her research and community activities are focused on Student Success and Parental Involvement in the public school system.
Producer/Editor:
Maria S. Lawrence is a versatile Television Producer with a Masters degree
in Communication & a Diploma in Television Production. She has won several
awards including the prestigeous Judges Award at the International
Documentary Competitions in Japan. Her understanding of different cultures
and people along with her astounding technical expertise help her in
creating meaningful and effective video programming.
